The firm and its partners can now look back on a successful decade of working together. Our team brings many more years of experience to the table – across various areas of law and in a wide range of case scenarios, working with a diverse range of clients from Hamburg, Germany and abroad. Our aim is to create the greatest possible value from this – and to achieve more for you than any single lawyer could on their own.
Three principles unite us:

Anyone considering wealth succession realises, of course, that this will also involve tax and/or company law issues – yet that is no reason to have to consult three different experts, listen to conflicting strategies and then choose the best one themselves. Our clients receive everything from a single source – no matter how complex their needs may be. They deal with just one specialised team, which works with them to develop a clear plan, with the support of other GWGL experts working behind the scenes. This means we can really get going where others have already stopped.

All three of us partners have our own areas of expertise and a clear focus in our work. Yet each of us knows the other’s field well enough to ask the right questions, to think on the other’s behalf, and to strike the right balance between the various areas of law. Networking and interdisciplinary work have a great deal to do with behaviour and attitude. We have worked with many colleagues over the years – and it is no coincidence that we chose the three of us.

We also set up the law firm GWGL because we want to operate on our own terms. There is no longer any place here for a competitive mindset or going it alone, nor for a race to see who is the biggest workaholic. Legal matters usually cause stress for clients, and the last thing they need is stressed, self-absorbed lawyers. We have a clear vision of a healthy, productive working environment.
