Matthias Grimme is a certified consultant specialising in corporate—
successor to the DStV e.V. (German Association of Tax Advisers)
Matthias Grimme He is a specialist solicitor in tax law, a tax adviser and a specialist adviser on business succession for the German Tax Advisers’ Association (Deutscher Steuerberaterverband e.V.), and heads the tax department at GWGL. His main areas of expertise are legal representation and tax planning advice.
In addition, he and his team support companies across all
Legal structures and high-net-worth individuals in all matters relating to tax law. Thanks to his dual experience as a solicitor and tax adviser, he is able to identify opportunities for optimisation through his day-to-day advisory work, communicate these at an early stage and implement them. In doing so, he sees himself as an entrepreneurially minded tax adviser and a link to other matters relating to commercial and company law.
There is probably no major mountain pass in the Alps or the German low mountain ranges that Matthias Grimme has not yet conquered on his road bike. Cycling remains his great passion, and he has regularly demonstrated his ability in the past – such as when he won the state championships in the individual time trial in 2010. If he has any free time left over from his family and sport, he spends it catching up with friends or exploring music and history.
